In these troubled times
I reach out to You to grant strength
Comfort and guidance to those left
Abandoned, helpless and feeling doubt
Almighty One, You came as a light
Into the world, that whosoever believes
Should not abide in darkness
Let Your light shine
Like the brightness of a midday sun
Enveloping Your people
Under Your mighty arms
And lift them up to see Your light
And to feel Your presence
